Authorized VEX Robotics Reseller — Kenya

A STEM Impact Center Kenya programme · Robotics for schools

Technolab for your school

Why buy when you can lease?

A world-class VEX robotics programme — the kits, your teachers trained, and the curriculum — for one simple termly membership. No capital outlay, no obsolete equipment.

VEX IQ robotics kit

VEX IQ — the classroom-proven platform at the heart of every Technolab STEM hub.

What it is

Robotics as a Service for schools

Technolab is a fully-managed robotics programme built on the globally-proven VEX platform. Instead of buying kits that date and sit unused, your school leases an age-matched fleet and we train your own teachers to run it — a world-class STEM hub becomes a simple operating cost, not a capital project.

Technolab is a programme of STEM Impact Center Kenya, which leases the programme directly to schools and delivers the training, curriculum and competitions, in partnership with Tech Harbor Education — Kenya's authorized VEX reseller.

One platform family, every age

Students grow through the VEX platform as they advance — from first robots to competition machines — so skills build year on year.

Elementary

Ages 5–11

VEX 123 · VEX GO

First robots, sequencing and block coding — build, code and play.

Questions

Frequently asked

What is Technolab Robotics as a Service?

A fully-managed robotics programme for schools, delivered by STEM Impact Center Kenya in partnership with Tech Harbor Education. Your school leases an age-matched VEX fleet, we train your teachers and provide the curriculum — for a simple membership billed by semester, with no capital outlay.

Why lease robotics kits instead of buying them?

Leasing turns a large capital purchase into a predictable operating cost, keeps your kits current (we refresh them as VEX evolves), and bundles maintenance, servicing and teacher training — so equipment never sits idle or becomes obsolete on your books.

How are fees charged?

Kit lease is billed each semester (three a year). The annual programme fee — covering teacher training, curriculum and admin — is charged once a year, at the first semester. All fees are due on the first day of the semester. Competition entry is arranged and billed separately.

What is the minimum a school can take?

The primary bundle: a minimum of 10 kits each of VEX 123, VEX GO and VEX IQ, sized to a class of at least 30 students. Optional add-ons — VEX EXP, VEX V5, Matrix Robo Mission Kit, Matrix Future Innovators, Tablets, Laptops, plus fab-lab equipment (3D printer, laser cutter/engraver, projector) — can be added on top of the primary bundle, each with its own minimum.
